San Antonio Daylily Society

The San Antonio Daylily Society (SADS) is comprised of San Antonio area daylily (hemerocallis) enthusiasts.  Simply put, “We love daylilies!”  SADS encourages anyone within the San Antonio area who has an interest in daylilies to visit one of our club meetings and to consider joining our group.  Besides members from San Antonio, we have members from Boerne, Seguin, Wimberley, Floresville, Poth, New Braunfels, Cibolo, Bergheim and Schertz.  SADS is one of seventeen daylily clubs in Region 6 of the American Hemerocallis Society (AHS).

You need not be an expert or even have any daylilies  in order to participate in our group.   If you want to learn more about daylilies and wish to be with daylily enthusiasts, SADS welcomes you.  We’re a friendly group which just happens to have a mutual interest in daylilies; we share our enthusiasm and our daylily growing experiences and joys with those who have an interest.

SADS meets monthly on the third Sunday of the month, except for those months with other special club events.  The group gathers at 2 pm in the education building at the San Antonio Botanical Garden (555 Funston Place, San Antonio, TX 78209-6635).  Each meeting consists of a brief business meeting followed by a program for the month with a guest speaker.  The program is focused on a daylily or gardening topic.  The public is welcome to attend any of our meetings.

Should you have interest in our group and/or have questions please contact us.

SADS looks forward to your visit!

Our next club meeting is August 15th 2 – 4pm
